Sometimes I find myself up at night, with my bed time long behind. It happens often really, for various reasons. But mainly, it's because someone out there in the world is calling to me-- though crying is more like it. I end up sitting down, now sacrificing my valuable time for someone else's cause. My thoughts start to gamble with one another...
"I bet it's self-esteem issues!"
"No no, relationship problems are more like it!"
With instinct I answer the person's call without hesitation, although often with a sigh. They start off with an unrelated statement, or sometimes a joke to break the ice. It's obvious they're seeking attention, especially when they break their character like that. Progressing through the process of dealing with conflict usually includes a bit of work, slaving through walls of text, and spontaneous mood swings. However, the end usually brings calming results.
